Hyperopia (longsighted)

Hyperopia (longsightedness), is a focussing error, in which the light comes to a focus behind the retina, rather than on the retina. The image then on the retina is blurry.

In hyperopia, distant objects look somewhat clear, but close objects appear more blurred.
